Argumentative Research Paper # 2 is a project that has 3 parts:
Part 1- You will have to write an Outline about the ideas to be included in this Argumentative paper (See Outline template with instructions to follow).
Part 2: You will have to write an Annotated Bibliography about the 8 sources you will use to document the information on the Outline. These sources will be the same ones you will use to write research paper # 2. (See instructions for the Annotated Bibliography). The 8 sources must be from reliable databases.
Part 3: Once you have completed the Outline for your paper and the Annotated Bibliography (8sources),ï‚· you will be ready to elaborate/expand on each idea from the Outline and write your Argumentative Research Paper # 2 in APA format. This Argumentative research paper must:ï‚· be in APA format.ï‚· have 5 pages of content (not including the Cover/title page and the References page).ï‚· have a Cover page/title page.ï‚· include headings to divide the paper into sections (Each of the 3 points of your thesis statement must be stated as a level-one heading in the body of your paper).ï‚· have a Counter Argument and Refutation.ï‚· must have a Reference page (a minimum of 8 reliable sources). (The same sources used in the Annotated Bibliography and on the Outline)
Be sure to AVOID CONTRACTIONS in formal writing.
Be sure to AVOID writing in the first person (I, We).
Italicize or Underline your Thesis statement (You do not need to specify that it is your thesis statement. Just make sure that it is the last sentence of your Introduction).Please note that your References page MUST have at least 8 (EIGHT) credible sources such as: books, newspapers, medical journals, and magazines.
Do not use websites such as: Wikipedia, Infoplease, Answers.com, WebMed, PsychologyToday.
You must use the FNU library database–LIRN.
