Divide the class into teams of relatively equal size. Each team may select one of the following problems it intends to solve, or decide on one of its own: arranging for a certain speaker or expanding the vegetarian menu in the cafeteria. While it is not necessary to complete the entire problem solving process, each team should go through the forming stage of team development and establish norms during which it outlines a plan for accomplishing the group task. Is each team cohesive? Why or why not?
