In this project you are going to:
- Evaluate the capital structure of your companies using the trade-off model as the framework.
- Make recommendations/suggestions to the companies about their capital structure (i.e. Should they keep their capital structure the same or should they make any adjustment to their current capital structure? Why so?).
- Collect publicly available data (both quantitative and qualitative information) to analyze the current status of your companies relative to each other and the overall industry.
- Forecast their status in the next 5 or 10 years.
Working on this project essentially requires the completion of four steps:(1) data collection, (2) information gathering about companies’ history, (3) preliminary calculations, (4) data analysis, (5) report writing.
There are 4 company should be analysis.
All the excel should follow the “Project Instructions” and pls show all the work with functions. Also, please using the function which is showed on the instruction.
You DO NOT need write whole report, but you need to forecast the future data for each companies, and make a clear explanation about why you choose these data as the future situation. You should take a look for the 10-K and other outside resources or news for each company to help you make the prediction. Please including the references as APA citation.To download 10-K, it all shows on the instruction.
